50 Days of Giveaways!

It's always easy for me to peruse Better Homes & Gardens website. I love the slide shows of rooms and decor and craft ideas. They always have an endless array of ideas for seasons and holidays. It is one of only a few magazine subscriptions I keep.

As I've shared with you recently, they have a lovely selection of desktop wallpapers to decorate your computer screen. In fact, if you CLICK HERE it will take you to the pretty Christmas desktops they have!

But, on to what I'm sharing with you today. They are holding a sweepstakes called 50 Days of Giveaways. If you are a member of their website you just sign in and click on the info about the Sweepstakes. If you're not a member it only takes a minute to sign up. To be honest, since I signed up over a year or so ago, I get maybe 1 email per week from them. I actually look forward to the emails. They always keep me up to date with what's new on their website.

The Sweepstakes works by having you surf their site. Each time you click on stories, craft ideas, slide shows, etc. you get an entry in the contest. Up to 50 times per day (if you have the time). And every day you can re-enter all over again (once again, if you have the time). No matter how much time you have, it's worth the effort. If you don't win, you will probably find something interesting or inspiring as you click around their site. They even keep track of how many entries you've earned so you'll know how many chances you have each time.

For instance, the slide show on Christmas Snowflake Crafts; lots of ideas for crafty Christmas snowflakes you can make from coasters, cards, several different snowflake ornaments, to a gorgeous appliqued snowflake quilt.

And speaking of snowflakes, CLICK HERE to make your own virtual snowflake! They fold the paper for you and you click and drag to make the scissor cut marks, then on the left it shows each cut as it will look when unfolded. Very fun and maybe a little addictive. (ha! and just when some of you thought you couldn't find yourself looking around on their site for very long.) You can even save it and it can be viewed by others if you wish to show your creation off. My 8 year old daughter loves making these virtual snowflakes, too.

Good luck and be inspired! -Karol :0)
