This morning I was sanding a few spots on the top part of my kitchen hutch project and decided to see what it would look like "aged". I really like how it looks with the corners and edges sanded lightly. It shows the red paint through. (You can click on the top photo for a larger image)
I used a 3M 180 grit foam sanding block to sand the edges and corners of my hutch. The foam sanding blocks work great because they bend around edges and corners nicely and they have sandpaper all around so they last a long time.
I will share the finished hutch later this week. I am also working on the how-to for my kitchen window treatment.

I like that! Can't wait to see more.
The green and red is just gorgeous. I can't wait to see the finished project. Hugs, Marty
That is adding a very nice touch to the new look of the hutch. Go for it! Looks terrific!
Wonderful job! As an artist you know that green and red are lovely together! ;-)
I think the hutch is going to look fantastic when your finished. The aged look is going to look nice.
