Love the mix of green and yellow and against a blue wall, I never would have put that together (because my brain is stuck on neutral) but it really looks so awesome and SPRING. Now you'll have to show pictures of the whole room for us to get a look see.
It is girls like you that make me want to take that leap outside the box.
That is my F*A*V*O*R*I*T*E shade of yellow! Nice and soft and buttery! It looks great with the green. Yeah, when your finished and have your prettys in it, we need a shot of the whole kitchen. I hope you are having fun with it! Blessings- LillySue
It's lookin' very good, friend! Can you give some specs on this project? You mentioned the paint is drying. Since we have the same climate, how long does this take and how many coats are you doing? Any sanding between coats? Any sort of topcoat after you paint it? What kind of paint is it?
I'm wanting to paint a little chest from my original bedroom furniture (from childhood) - right now it's mauve (I'm guessing a semi-gloss.) It's been painted numerous times over the years by my mom... but now I want to paint it a satiny black and put it in my entrance way (not really a foyer, just a square area!)
This will be my first real venture into furniture painting, besides painting shelves. Last time I painted a shelf, it stayed tacky for days! Why did this happen? (It was spray paint/I followed directions for recoating in an hour)
